ISHSHAH: A Wife in Destiny

"I know that there is nothing better for them than to be glad and to get and do good as long as they live..."
Ecclesiastes 3:12

Who is A Wife in Destiny?

A Part of Destiny

A Wife's Essence

  • She is good - very good - and her origin is completely approved of by the Father (Genesis 1:31). She is beautiful, complete, bountiful, and well-favoured by the Master.
  • She has no need to walk in embarrassment or shame (Genesis 2:25).
  • A wife is sensitive to give to the desires and needs of others (Genesis 24:14-19).
  • A wife conceives and cultivates her home fruitfully with the Lord as its Chief Cornerstone (Psalm 127; Psalm 128:3; and Proverbs 31:28-31).
  • She will always be personally protected by the hand of God (Genesis 19:15-16, 26:11; John 12:7).
  • Her covenant with her husband positions him to receive goodwill from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22).
  • A wife from God has His presence upon her own so that she can bring great comfort, great healing, and great strength to her husband (Genesis 24:67).

Ishshah (the Hebrew word for wife), know that you are a treasure worth having. Study the reflective elements in God's Word and know that when He used men to pen His words, He did so with you in His mind. Know that God is willing, able, and pleased to give you the desire, power, and life of success to continue on in your destiny as a wife (Luke 12:32).

God is not like us humans (adams) that He should repent of His actions (change His mind). He does not make mistakes; and He does not have the human option to lie. So since He has chosen to establish you in the position of a wife, know that you are the best woman for your husband. Know that God delights in you. Your God has cloaked you in a tunic of favor and this tunic is cleansed and conforms to your image, as you conform to His - through your humility, your meekness, your desire to be used of Him, and your willingness to submit to and insulate your man.

The mantle that the Lord has given you is not one that can be easily stripped from you. Though there is a foe looking for ways to steal, kill, and destroy the anointing of God on your life, this foe cannot overtake you; because our God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted]... God is able to keep you capable and strong and powerful (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Let's Pray.

Hebrews 7:25 teaches that Jesus lives to intercede before the Father's throne for His people. I believe that He takes great delight in doing so. I'm grateful to be able to share in tHis desire to intercede as 1 John 4:17 encourages me: as He is (living to intercede) so am I (while I am) in this world.

"I (will always) pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory. I pray that He would grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation. May you receive His fulness for your life by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light; so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you - and this hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).

May you always know how rich His glorious inheritance is for you among the saints of God. I pray in the name of Jesus, the Christ from Nazareth, that you come to know and understand the immeasurable, unlimited, and surpassing greatness of His power that operates through your life (Ephesians 1:17-19). My concern is that your hearts would be braced; and that you would come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings that assured conviction of understanding can bring. I pray that you become progressively more intimately acquainted with, and thoroughly understand the mystic secrets of God (Colossians 2:2).

Father, I also humbly ask that You let not those who wait and hope and look for You (on this website), O Lord of hosts, be put to shame through me; let not those who seek and inquire for and require You [as their vital necessity] (via this website) be brought to confusion and dishonor through me, O God of Israel (Psalm 69:6). Please open all of our eyes dear Lord, that we may each behold even more wondrous things out of Your law (Psalm 119:18). Father we thank You for hearing our prayer.  In Jesus name. Amen".

Romans 6:10-11

"Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace (the peace of His Kingdom) at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all".

Beginning Wednesday, December 12, 2012 we will host a weekly, early morning prayer 1/2 hour for husbands and wives. We encourage you to call in and increase your faith by hearing, and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) . It is our hope and prayer that this half hour of worship and intercession would be a time where you can lay down your burdens at the feet of the Father, and receive refreshing and help in your times of need. Enough About Me

My name is Celena and I am just a wife who loves the Lord. I'm so grateful to Him for the life that He's given me. I get to be a meet help to my husband Adrian; so that he may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work that the Lord has chosen for him to do (2 Timothy 3:17). I'm thankful that I get to have two children that are prepared for God (1 Corinthians 7:14). I'm thankful also that I get to be a daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, neighbor, and an active member of a local church. I sincerely enjoy praying, reading, and studying the scriptures; as well as prophesying according to the measure of my faith (Romans 12:3-6)  to encourage others. I thank my God for the ability to be able to research and seek out  sound, Godly truth.

The Cornerstone of My Faith

You should know that I believe every word of the Bible.  I believe that the Holy Bible is entirely true, accurate, helpful, necessary, and direct from God Himself (1 Corinthians 2:12-13 & 2 Timothy 3:16) even when I don't always understand it.  :)

You should also know that I believe that God reveals Himself in three distinct Persons: God the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6); Jesus the holy One called the Son of God (Luke 1:35; John 1:14; 1 John 4:14-15); & Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10-11). Yet He remains One Supreme and Sovereign Lord (Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5 & John 10:30). It is in tandem with these Three and only these Three that I make my requests known. I do not pray in conjunction with or towards any other force, spirit, energy, or enlightenment.

And finally, you should know that I believe that humanity and creation came to be ONLY through the very powerful hands of God; not as the result of evolution, meteor collisions, or any of the like (Genesis 1:26-27; Job 38-40; Psalm 139:15).

"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you".

                                       2 Thessalonians 3:1

"And ask on my behalf that words may be given to me so that, outspoken and fearless, I may make known the truths (hitherto kept secret)".

Ephesians 6:19

"I don't say this because I want a gift from you.  The opposite is true. Rather, I'm looking for your resources to increase. I want you to receive a reward for your kindness".

Philippians 4:17

In Jesus name.  Amen.
